“I wrote Duo for Marimba and Piano in 1988 and premiered the piece with Eric Lacain on marimba at the North Carolina Composers’ Symposium. I rewrote the piece in 1991 and performed it with a prerecorded tape of Matt Spatero playing the marimba part on a television set.”
